Browsers stop any page from typing into another site, so Keyring hands you each value to paste. Whatever it copies is wiped from the clipboard and from memory when this closes.
Your current recovery key cannot be shown — only the wrapped copy is stored, which is why it stays safe. You can replace it with a fresh random key or a phrase you choose. Either way you need your current password above, and the old one stops working straight away.
Keyring can keep an encrypted copy of the vault in a folder you choose — a USB stick, an external drive, or a folder that OneDrive, iCloud, Dropbox or Google Drive already watches. The copy is sealed with this vault’s master password, so the drive only ever holds ciphertext.
Deleting every record cannot be undone.
Every record in the vault.
Passwords will appear in full on every page. Print it only to paper you can lock up, and shred it when it is out of date.

This key is the only way back in if you forget the master password. It is shown once and is not stored anywhere in readable form. You can swap it for a phrase you choose in Vault settings.
Keyring locks itself after 15 minutes without activity. This vault locks in 60 seconds.
